"Unused Poetry"

Some days the mind
is as blank as the page
and though the heart swells
with inky ideas
the hands remain still
and poetry pumps
through the bloodstream
getting lost in the stomach
pooling in the feet
losing its weight
until it can't even
clog our arteries

"Talking Shop"

Too many writers
write about writing
too many mailman
complain about the post
too many actors
discuss only their scenes
too many businessmen
are always networking
too many workers
never really go home

"Thoughtful Kink Knack"

She sits on the shelf
clutching the book
open to her chest
her face gazes up
without eyes
with no nose
nor mouth
not even a line
to denote a smile
and yet she speaks
her longing
her desire
as plain to see
as her skin toned
sack dress
a fact
a reality
a reminder
