Why go caroling about Christmas, when such a festive fun time is right around the corner? I'm so tierd of the Christmas stuff in October. So at least I can hum a tune that reflects what time of year it actually is.
I've altered the famous "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas" lyrics to something more seasonally appropriate.
"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Halloween"
It's beginning to look a lot like Hallo-ween, every where you go.
Take a look at the five and ten,
it's beginning to fog again,
with zombie heads and spooky lanes that groaaaaaaaaan.
It's beginning to look a lot like Hallo-ween. Gourds in every store,
and the sweetest sight to see
is the candy that will be
at your own front door.
A pair of flesh eating bats and a cauldron that spirts
Are the fears of Barney and Ben;
Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk
Is the dread of Janice and Jen;
And Mom and Dad can hardly stand for ghouls to howl again.
It's beginning to look a lot like Hallo-ween
Ev'rywhere you go;
There's pumpkins in the Grand Hotel, some in the park as well,
The sturdy kind that doesn't mind the carve.
It's beginning to look a lot like Hallo-ween ;
Soon door bells will ring,
And the thing that will make them sing
are the kids that will all scream
Trick-or-treat, smell our feet
