Hello everyone!
On a whim I entered NYC Midnight's Tweet Me a Story Contest.
The goal is to tell a story in 140 characters that uses a word of their choice. You can submit up to 3 and there were over 1000 entries.
TWO of my stories have made it into the top 25 (Judge's pick) in my group. I am Group 5. My word was incredible.
Now, to decide who will advance to the final round, they are letting the public vote.
The story (everything is done by story) with the most public votes automatically advances. Then the judges pick 4 more.
People in the final round get to go again and the judges pick the winner.
The prize is $100, but I'm more interested in just making it. :)
You don't have to vote for me if you really think someone else's story is better, but I figure the more people who know, the more votes, and the better my chances. Also there were 20 groups, so after voting in my group you can go vote on other group's stories too. I'm sure they'd really appreciate it too.
1. Go to the link below
2. Select Group 5
3. Read the top 25 stories (including my two)
4. Look for mine, I have written them under Meagan Hart
5. Click the link at the bottom of the story page to vote.

The good news:
You only get to vote in each group once, but within that group you can vote for as many stories as you like 1, 2, 3. . . 25! the choice is yours. So you can vote for me and someone else, both mine, everyone but me, or some combination there of. The choice is yours, but I hope you enjoy the stories. If you have time you should visit the other groups too. The site is working again

Here were my two stories that made it and that are there:
After years of telling everyone meeting Johnny was incredible luck, she finally asked to hear his side. “I’d been stalking you,” he said.

“I’m the incredible edible egg,” said the egg. “What’s so incredible?” asked the man. “I can talk,” said the egg. “So can I,” said the man.
