So I have officially confirmed the necessity of me time today.
I've got me scheduled reworked so that I have Monday "off." What this really means is that I am working from home on various projects- WW flips, grading papers and creating assignments, my homework.
It also means I can actually run errands while businesses are open.
You may ask if I could do this on weekend and the answer is not really. Chris is home and we do things we need both of us to do (like taxes, house rearranging), plus it would be nice to have fun once in awhile. But I need a day to work at my pace- without interruption.
I got so much done today!
Of course such days are dangerous and occasionally may result in super procrastination, but more often than not I can fall into my work and work until it is done, or at least mostly done. All my assignments are graded. Still have work to do for tomorrows class and Wednesday's meetings. But I feel better now that I can actually accomplish this stuff.
I think we should all take at least some time for "me-time." I think it is necessary.
