If there must be a reason for everything, maybe this will mean that she, her father being diagnosed with advanced cancer and her mother, yes her mother not her father, dying from a stress heart attack wihtin the span of a year, will mean she will grow a passion for science and one day, when she grows up, she will cure such things as cancer and comas.
