Homework for the future...

It seems that time of year where I need to blend my syllabuses all into one has come a little early this semester. Though I am happy to report that I only need to finish reading 4 books, writing 2 essays, writing 4 revisions, developing a final website, writing a final story/final project, reading about 3-5 other essays and some online material, and doing a presentation on MySpace. I'm sure there will be other little daily/weekly assignments like blogging or writing short pieces, but while looking at this list now seems a little imposing, it actually makes me feel better knowing what it all is. It is less threatening in list form. Plus, one of the two essays I roughed out this weekend, so it needs some final going overs, and it should be ready. The other things I at least have ideas for, except my final website cause I don't know exactly what that will entail yet.
I also need to sew some more books for the showing on Wednesday, a few orders I'm told are on the way, and the City Lit Fest in April.
I'm looking forward to this summer.
I'll be working on my final manuscript, my family, Chris's family, probably 2 of my friends are coming to visit through the summer AND one of my best friends is moving to New Jersey making her within easy visiting range.
After that I'll be embarking on my final year of grad school and moving on.
I'm actually kind of anxious about it. I'm enjoying school, but I'm ready to move on to the next phase. I'm ready to leave Baltimore. Don't get me wrong, I like Baltimore alright and I really don't mind living here, there's just other places I'd rather be or rather be exploring.
I realized that this week. I am not a permanant Baltimorian. It's just an intersting thought.

In other news we treked down to see Thomas Jefferson's house yesterday. It was pretty neat. We took Flat Stanley of course.
