Hey, I hope no one else in class has already posted about this. I don't have time to check, but I really like this site. It's called We Tell Stories.
They have six authors, tell six stories, in six weeks. The main page is clear and easy to use. It's not bogged down with ads or anything distracting. It's got plenty of info.
So they get a good score for general functionality.
But what is so cool is how they tell the stories. There's one story that looks like a Google map or a Map quest map. You learn the story as you travel the map. There's another one that is kind of like choose your own adventure, but you type in the names of charecters and have serveral options. It's more like you are helping to write the story than simply picking one path.
Depending on your computer the loading time may vary, but everything came up reasonably quick for me. You definitely need to check this one out. Talk about experimental forms. :)
